Larrinae.
Very nice image of a sphecid in the subfamily Larrinae. Larra, Larropsis, Liris, all look very much alike, and are separated largely by the degree of atrophy of the ocelli (simple eyes). They are reduced to obsolete in many genera in this subfamily. Hard wasps to photograph as they are very wary.
