Wasp with spider - Ageniella salti

I found this flying around an outdoor pool while vacationing. It was so small, I thought it was carrying a grub until checking the pictures.
Can anyone please i.d. the wasp or the spider. Do they bite off the legs for food or so it is lighter to carry?
