A small moth found on a plastic water jug in my kitchen.

... I suppose I should have been able to identify this long ago from two spread specimen photos at MPG. But, as is often the case, lovely photos of fresh living moths can be difficult to recognize by comparison with dead specimens. This photo was identified by Charles V. Covell, Jr. who is now Senior Research Scientist at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity in Gainesville, Florida.
