Cremnops ashmeadi - female

Cremnops ashmeadi - Female

Hopkins County, Kentucky, USA
C. ashmeadi looks very similar morphologically to C. montrealensis (C. haematodes), but can be distinguished by the much stronger and triangularly-shaped posterior projecting mesoscutal flange.

Comments

thanks for your great contributions, Erika
if possible, please add dates and exact locations to the label data; are they all indeed from Hopkins County?

will do..
With the exception of Cremnops crassifemur, all the pictures I uploaded are of specimens from our malaise traps in western KY, Hopkins County. I seem to be having a problem with the dates though. Is there a specific way to indicate a several day period instead of just one day? I've tried a couple formats, but it either goes back to being blank or sets to December 1969.
