Peracalles pectoralis
This is Peracalles pectoralis LeConte. Its Cryptorhynchini.

How to destinguish?
How do you distinguish physically between pectoralis and ventrosus? According to American Beetles Vol.2, this insect was found outside of the range for pectoralis, which is known from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Missouri. However, ventrosus is known from Florida, which is where this specimen is from. However, it would be good to know what the physical traits are that distinguish these species, also.
