Is this some kind of Tree Cricket? - Pterophylla camellifolia

Is this some kind of Tree Cricket? - Pterophylla camellifolia
Acworth, Cobb County, Georgia, USA
April 24, 2006
Size: 2" or so
This was long and elongated and quite thin looking. At first we thought that it was a mayfly, cranefly or something. Size of 2" is based on outstretched antennae and backwards stretched legs.

Moved from Katydids.

Katydid nymph.
This is the nymph of a katydid of some kind. Very difficult to ID the youngsters, but based on the posture, it might be a true katydid. They are generally found in the very crown of large trees, though.
