I found this Hyalophora columbia gloveri (m) (Glover's Silkmoth) on Embudito Trl (No. 192) at about 6800 ft elev. in the Sandia Mountain Wilderness, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. It was clinging to a wet rock in a cold mountain stream a few hours after sunrise. Apparently, the cold water immobilized it, trapping it there.
