My favorite flowers. (Bush sunflower is my very favorite.)

Lygaeoidea:-)
These are insects that used to be in the family Lygaeidae. You might start by searching our guide pages in that family, and ones related to it (Blissidae especially). Many of the genera look very similar, though.

 
Seed bug looks right...
...except for the color, but I'd expect there are more variations. "Used to be in the family"? Why'd they get kicked out? (LOL)

Funny:-)
Somebody 'revised' the family Lygaeidae and created nine additional families from it. Joy! I'm still trying to learn the more common ones.

until we have the new taxonomy, I'm moving to Lygaeidae for now.
