Efferia - male

Efferia - Male
Buffalo Springs Lake, Lubbock County, Texas, USA
March 23, 2010
It's been almost a year, and I haven't done anything with these. I'm throwing them to the experts to help. Thanks!

I think it may be Aridefferia prattii.

Found in copula with female.

Moved
Moved from Efferia.

Definitely in
Arida group by wings. And it is not snowii. Leaving subarida and prattii in TX. Wilson did not show an image of prattii male genitals. E. subarida is supposed to have many black hairs on the sides and below in the mystax. I think it is likely prattii.

Thanks!
Thanks for the confirmation Herschel. Do you want additional confirmation from Eric, or do you want to create a species page?
