Curve-toothed Geometer Moth - Hodges #6966 - Eutrapela clemataria

Curve-toothed Geometer Moth - Hodges #6966 - Eutrapela clemataria
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
March 2, 2011
This is one of three suspected Curve-tooth Geometers I saw last night. It looks very much like a Horned Spanworm, except the HW is scalloped, not pointed. Could it be a variation of the Curve-tooth?

See all the variations of Curve-toothed Geometer Moth on MPG.

Moved from Geometrid Moths.

Yes
Vernon Brou has a couple of somewhat similar examples shown at MPG. (no rsvp, thanks)
