Tettigoniidae Microcentrum nymph? - Microcentrum
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego County, California, USA
April 4, 1996
We found this nymph in Borrego Palm Canyon on vegetation. Nymphs are so difficult to ID. We think it is a Microcentrum, which would probably be either the widespread M. rhombifolium, or M. californicum that is restricted to CA and AZ. Is it possible that any trait that would separate the two species would show up in this photo? Any help is much appreciated!
