if you could see body would help a lot possibly you can take it in your hand sometime I do that does not seem to bother them I do thing it 8137 Spilosoma virginica you can check mine at

If you put sweat on your finger or other liquid you might get it to go on your finger they do not eat as adult but some take liquid and some type nothing at all you need do practice that It work also with butterflies been doing that for Srarted 45 years one time I was sitting one came and landed on my hand that when I figured that

Thanks for the great tips Martin, and love seeing your beautiful pictures. I was at Noblewood Park that day looking for dragonflies, so just got a quick picture. As you can tell, I'm just starting to learn about moths. I was afraid to touch it an have it fly away, and it was starting to rain hard. I'll know in the future to get more pictures if possible. I do appreciate your help!!
