In addition, according to the original description of S. spoliata(1): "This handsome species differs decidedly from P. edwardsata Hulst in the course of the intradiscal line. In edwardsata this begins at the center of the costa and extends far out toward the outer margin of the wing, then turns inward and runs sinuously to inner margins. In spoliata this line does not begin out so far on the costa and is evenly curved throughout".
