Robber fly with what appears to be assassin bug prey. Having seen some assassin bugs with prey, I figure this one could have gone either way.

M. minutus vs. laphroides
How are you distinguishing this from M. minutus? I see what could be one yellow hair on the hind tibiae in this photo, but there are supposed to be yellow hairs on half of the hind tibiae according to Cole and Pritchard (1964).
