Explanation of Names
Rhabdocephala brunnea Van Duzee 1929
Remarks
Rhabdocephala is one of the insects that forms a link between the traditional Fulgoridae (large insects with reticulate hind wings) and "Dictyopharidae". The nymph is obviously similar to those of Dictyopharinae such as Rhynchomitra and Scolops, but the adult more closely resembles Zanna (Fulgoridae), a much larger but also sticklike insect. -- Andy Hamilton, 26.vi.2012
