Not-so-uncommon? - Asaphidion curtum

Not-so-uncommon? - Asaphidion curtum
Hudson, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
April 27, 2006
Size: about 4 mm
Don Chandler says this species is uncommonly found. In that case it is an amazing coincidence that I happened to spot this one while I was busy installing a steel bulkhead. I licked my finger, touched him, placed him in my palm, whipped out my pocket loupe, and saw what I was pretty sure was the same species as Tom Murray photographed just a couple days ago. I put him in my small shirtpocket vial (an old Krazy Glue container) for a photo shoot when I got home.
