Telethusia ovalis is the only species that occurs in America north of Mexico.

Forewing length 10-12.5 mm.

British Columbia and Ontario to Texas and central California. Also occurs in the northeastern states.

Season
Adults have two flights from May to July and then again September to October.

Larvae have been reared on woolly sunflower, Eriophyllum, and pussy paws, Antennaria.
