Cicadellidae - 3 - Balclutha

Cicadellidae - 3 - Balclutha
Chibougamau, Nord-du-Québec County, Quebec, Canada
July 16, 2009
Last of the mysterious discoloured Cicadellidae. Major difference from lies in the much more rounded vertex. Again, this is not sexual dimorphism, as, with each morphological difference posted here, there were both males and females (except for the second, which was present in a single specimen).

All those are most probably belonging to sub-family Typhlocybinae, as per the pointed first tarsi and overall delicate appearance.

Moved
Moved from Leafhoppers.

Balclutha
the head is shorter than in Typhlocybinae
