Individual was in a boggy area of a beaver pond. This was the third Georgia record and first record for this county.

As indicated above, this was the 3rd Georgia record. The previous two records were by
Giff Beaton
(author of Dragonflies & Damselflies of Georgia and the Southeast) at Long County in 2003, and Sidney W. Dunkle (author of Dragonflies through Binoculars) at White County in 1983.
