Fishfly Larva - Chauliodes rastricornis

Fishfly Larva - Chauliodes rastricornis
Assabet River NWR, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
April 27, 2006
Size: 4cm
Found inside a rotten log, and placed in a small container of water so the gills would show. It didn't seem to like the water, constantly raising it's head out of the water.

Moved
Moved from Summer Fishfly.

The black median stripe should place this as Chauliodes rastricornis.

Corydalidae: Chauliodes pectinicornis
The two long respiratory filaments place it as this species.

respiratory filaments..
Would this be the same species as well then?
