I'm thinking this is Cemolobus ipomoeae (Robertson).

Taken between 20 & 24 July 2008 in purple panel trap.

This is Cemolobus ipomoeae (Robertson)

A rarely found bee, especially in recent decades, so of considerable interest.

You may be able to observe more visiting Ipomoea.

Please look for the nest!
