possible place to look for more specimens
Try looking on sea oats (Uniola paniculata) during its flowering phase. I've seen multiple types of Oedemerids feeding on sea oats in the early mornings on Sapelo Island, Georgia. Oxycopis falli(?) (look it up on this site) was one of the species on sea oats on Sapelo, and that beetle had similar metallic blue coloration.
