Nursery, Wolf, Grass or other? - Pisaurina dubia

Nursery, Wolf, Grass or other? - Pisaurina dubia
Atchison, Atchison County, Kansas, USA
May 11, 2009
Size: 3/4 inch body?
My apologies for not having more specific size. At the time my fear of spiders was a LOT more irrational then it is today.
This large spider, however was on a type of fungi that I DO know the size...so think I can minimize down to about an 3/4 inch in body length.
Hunting in a flooded area with lots of mushrooms, fungi and lichens. This particular species even had a slime mold on it.

Second try...
On taking a closer look, I think it looks more like Pisaurina dubia:

Not that that's necessarily right, either. :)

Thanx again!
Sure looks like the same spider. I guess this is the same one I saw that I posted earlier for ID'ing....two different locations but both here in Atchison, Kansas. REALLY appreciate the help!

...for being way off base.
