Size: 9mm
Here's an image of the epigynium. I slide mounted it, but I was sloppy and in a hurry, hence the specimen isn't totally cleared, and there is a giant air bubble in the middle of everything. If I catch more, I may try to make a prettier mount, but this should be sufficient to confirm the ID.

Certainly bears a strong rese
Certainly bears a strong resemblence to the drawings in Gertsch & Ennik 1983. Can also be found here:

The sclerotized areas actuall
The sclerotized areas actually showed up more clearly before I tried to clear and stain it. Oh well. I'm going to put out some sticky traps and see if I can collect some more, now that I know where they live.

Al Greene (author of the paper with the photomicrographs I posted) is actually coming to New Orleans in a few weeks to tour/survey the basements of some of our large urban buildings. We're going to look for spiders and such, so hopefully I'll have more cool photos to post soon.
