Egira perlubens ? - Egira perlubens

Egira perlubens ? - Egira perlubens
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
March 27, 2001
Size: 34mm wingspan spread.
Came to black light. (live oak/chaparral habitat). Based on comments by Libby & Rick Avis on , I suspect this is also Egira perlubens, the hind wings are white.

Moved
Moved from Owlet Moths. 100% match at BOLD to Egira perlubens (22 of 24 specimens) & 100% to Egira rubrica (3 of 28 specimens). The 3 specimens of E. rubrica at BOLD which this individual matches may be misidentified. Also this individual looks more like E. perlubens than like E. rubrica.
