Petrophila sp. - Petrophila canadensis

Petrophila sp. - Petrophila canadensis
Epping, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, USA
June 5, 2010
Size: Wingspan about 12 mm
Would someone please help me with an ID on this moth?

I believe this pretty little moth is a feather-edged Petrophila (Petrophila fulicalis) but am not sure because I do not see the three dark spots in the median area in my specimen. I have narrowed down the possibilities to either the feather-edged petrophila (Petrophila fulicalis) or the Canadian petrophila (Petrophila canadensis). I compared my pics with these from bugguide:

feather-edged petrophila (Petrophila fulicalis)

Canadian Petrophila (Petrophila canadensis)

The moth was attracted to the backdoor light. The lot is wooded, mixed deciduous/coniferous with a river nearby.

Thanks for your help.
