Whoops!
I didn't mean to overturn the good doctor's ID (noticed after I moved it). Moved this based on the speckling of the coria and metatibiae which (in my limited experience) seems to fit N. roseipennis in the Northeast. But Dr. Henry certainly knows the Nabidae better than I, and nabids are especially tricky to ID from photograph. Will probably move back shortly.

Moved from Nabis americoferus.

Prey
Prey is female Chironomini.

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

T.J. Henry:
"There is no way to be positive of the species from the image, but yes it probably is N. americoferus."
(this is the best ID we can pray for, so i consider this a victory. =v= ))
