Size: 10mm total length.
This is the second Syrphid that has come to my black light, I believe it is another Scaeva pyrastri . Tonight I also added a mercury vapor light to my black lighting efforts, several different flies and even a bumblebee came, as well as many moths and several Ichneumonids.
