i have no idea what else may be needed, and even whether the heal will help. my request was based on long-term observations only: it seems like the tach images are more likely to get more advanced IDs if the expert can look them in the eyes...
i've never keyed out a single calyptrate fly in my life, and have no clue which formal features are used to ID this or that taxon, sorry :(
