Eastern Leaf-footed Bug - Leptoglossus phyllopus

I know there are plenty of photos of this bug on the site, however, what struck me about this one was the white spot on top of the head (and between the eyes). It could be a parasitic egg, or perhaps some type of micro-tracking chip? Perhaps that's a silly theory, but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone can add to this...

Tachinid fly egg
Good attention to detail, Tony:-) The white spot is the egg of a tachinid fly, most likely a Trichopoda species (they are well-known parasites of Coriedae and Pentatomidae). The bug won't be able to wipe it off, either.
