Sepedon sp. - Sepedon armipes
Chibougamau, Nord-du-Québec County, Quebec, Canada

A beautiful specimen of Sepedon sp., with nicely sculpted femora and curved tibiae. My guess would be S. armipes Loew, 1859, but I don't know all of the species whose range include this locality.

Sepedon armipes Loew
Yes, it certainly is Sepedon armipes Loew, the only Sepedon species in Quebec with those uniquely shaped hind femora.
