The Syrphini are treacherous. Can anyone confirm Eupeodes americanus from this?

Ben, I'd move it there and hope. Light bands look a bit different than others IDed here as E. americanus.

Whatever it is, they are common in our area. I guess there could be variability in how xanthic the markings are. Does Jeff Skevington still frequent this site regularly?

Gerard is probably more likely to ID these, based on past results.
