Mite? - Bryobia

Mite? - Bryobia
Milford, Ohio, USA
April 10, 2011
Size: approx 1 mm for body
I'm guessing this is a mite of some sort - hopefully the body markings are distinctive enough for an species id. Body size is estimated from in-camera magnification and cropping of image. (And yep, I should have cropped a bit from the top and bottom for submission.)

Moved from Mites and Ticks.

from Fred Beaulieu: "Bryobia, probably praetosia species group.
"Good diagnostic characters are the white club-shaped setae on the main body; the 4 extensions of the anterior body margin bearing 4 (club-shaped) setae; and the long forelegs. With those characters, you get Bryobia, and probably praetosia group (or a species near praetosia - the clover mite, which sometimes gets in houses while actually just trying to get a shelter (normally tree trunk bark cracks; or a crack on the house foundation) for molting or egg-laying and to avoid predation)."

Thanks for the information
It is appreciated
