Miridae Nymph? - Coccobaphes frontifer

Miridae Nymph? - Coccobaphes frontifer
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
April 11, 2011
Size: 2 mm BL
Found on leaf of oak sapling in wooded area. This is still another first for me. It wasn't much of a mover, preferring to pretty much stay put on its leaf although it scuttled about a bit. This is some kind of Hemipteran, but a more knowledgeable eye is required to ID it.

Maybe
Coccobaphes frontifer...

...or something in that neighborhood?

Yessir! That's it.
What rock did you find this under, pray, tell? I hunted all over the Plant bugs and didn't see it.

You'll kick yourself...
Try searching for "red white nymph" and see what you come up with. :)

DOH!!
