Argyrotaenia franciscana ? - Clepsis peritana

Argyrotaenia franciscana ? - Clepsis peritana
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
April 15, 2011
Size: 12mm wingspan spread.
Came to black light trap. (live oak/chaparral habitat). Probably another Argyrotaenia franciscana?

Moved
Moved from Orange Tortrix.

Moved
Moved from Tortricid Moths.

Tentative ID, the palps look a bit odd. It is hard to tell, but there appears to be a costal fold, if so, that eliminates this species and it is probably E. postvittana or a Clepsis.

Just now checked
BOLD for the DNA results, 100% match to Clepsis peritana.
