The posts ring a field of Sedges, with some Live Oaks and 1 Douglas Fir, and a grove of Coastal redwoods nearby. As I recall this is under a mature Coastal Live Oak.

This just about has to be the ubiquitous H. opacior, but one can't see the confirming characters of the petiole, so genus will have to suffice.

In flowers petiole is the leaf stem, hopefully you don't need the body connector under the wings, my camera isn't that good.
