Argentine Ants - Linepithema humile

Argentine Ants - Linepithema humile
Daphne, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA
April 21, 2011
I found these ants in rotten log. I was thinking they were feasting on wet wood termites, but the pr*y looks more like booklice. Anybody know what the ants and the prey might be. Thanks for your help.

Visible petiolar scale and relatively slender mesosoma and longish legs rule out Tapinoma.
The "prey" is its own brood, some damaged worker pupae, and probably a male prepupa.

prey? I see pupae..
Perhaps a Dolichoderine such as Linepthema
