Narceus americanus (Beauvois, 1817) (Spirobolida: Spirobolidae) again, the most common millipede species in eastern North America.

Any ideas of the size? That might narrow down the ID. The cylindrical shape makes it a spirobolid, at least - I will move to that level in the guide.

I didn't measure (I need to start carrying a ruler) but I estimate that this specimen was about 3 inches long. I hope that helps.
