Moved
Moved from Timema.

Oak host plant, location, lack of stripes, and (most dependably) form of the terminalia...all point to [i]T. californicum[/url] here. This is a male.

thanks Aaron
for figuring out what all these Timemas are (here and in CalPhotos too)!

A new family for bugguide!
Congrats, Joyce.

Actually, the attached image has been sitting
in the guide for quite a while without a home. Maybe now it has one!

Moved to guide, taxonomy unclear
Seems to be a monotypic family, suborder, etc. This site had a discussion, so I put it in its own family, and just listed the genus.
