Rove Beetle - Lathrobium

Rove Beetle - Lathrobium
Woodford, Bennington County, Vermont, USA
May 3, 2006
Size: 8mm

Moved
Moved from Erichsonius.

Lathrobium sp.
I did check, and Boris is correct.

Staphylinidae: Staphylininae: Erichsonius sp.
I think this is correct.

Paederinae: Lathrobium sp.?
Boris Bueche thinks this is a Lathrobium sp. Don, what do you think?

If I can remember
to do so, I will look in the collection. The pronotum is pretty heavily punctate for a Lathrobium (typical for Erichsonius), but maybe the light and angle is throwing me off. Just saw my Atrecus comment about tracking down the species from some time ago, so perhaps I should make a list.
