Size: ~1/4 inch
On dunes, with emergent lupine, sweet fern, and dune grasses. Pitch pine/scrub oak habitat. ID? Thank you!!!

had to dig, wholly fascinated by this hopper, please see comments on near Cuerna stuff I dug up at the set of 4 images from 4/29/11 as also posted here for your perusal. Also found a 1928 record for C. sayi at the Albany Pine Bush (Karner) which would be the contiguous glacial lake inland barren's about 40 miles to the south of this individual.
