Loedelia maculicollis? - Loedelia maculicollis
Webb Canyon, ~2000 ft. elevation, Los Angeles County, California, USA
June 24, 2010
Photographed on Heteromeles arbutifolia. Unfortunately, it only allowed me this one shot before flying off. Best match I found after looking around was Loedelia maculicollis, but I feel a bit tentative. Confirmation, please?

you're a genius, love.
Moved from Beetles.

Nice! New species for me!
Thanks so much for confirming my beetle, =v=. I love clerids.

...are one of those few groups everybody seems to like, whatever their tastes in beetles may be otherwise

They're just so... endearing.
