wolf spider? - Thanatus formicinus

wolf spider? - Thanatus formicinus
Merrimack, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
February 24, 2011
I was following an ant on the ground and suddenly it scurried away, and then this huge spider jumped out and looked as if it were about to pounce on the ant. I intercepted it with my camera, and when I touched it, it did a 180 and pounced on my finger!! It didn't bite me but for ten minutes we had a stare-down and then it jumped off and ran away.
Perhaps the female of this spider

which I found a little ways down the hill I was on?
