On the wall near the light at night. Probably 7 mm or more.

Myrmentoma?
Based on some of the other photos, this may belong to subgenus Myrmentoma (median notch on the clypeus), which could help you narrow it down.

Right guess
This is a major worker of Camponotus (Myrmentoma) nearcticus.
Moreover, 7 mm "only" is far too small for a major worker of subgenus Camponotus.
