unknown wolf spider - Rabidosa santrita - Female
Cave Creek Canyon, Coronado National Forest, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
April 1, 2011
Size: 1 1/2 inch (with legs)
This large spider was in the Chiricahua Mountains near the Mexican border. I know she is a wolf of some sort but am hoping for a species ID. Very common, the 2 photos are of different spiders I found.

Rabidosa
One of the Rabidosa maybe. You can review the species in your area here. It looks like Rabidosa santrita is the only one in your area.
