Found on sweet-gum leaf. This one looks like it was shot in the butt with bird-shot by a local farmer that caught it poaching his field. Note the large spur mid-tibia (or would that be femur?) on the front leg in the first photo.

Fooled me totally.....
I know, not hard to do. :-) One point is that these (nor their similar-looking brethren) are not really common in this area, although everything I have read indicates they should be. Maybe they've had a few bad years....
