We saw this moth active (crawling through leaf litter) during the early afternoon, approximately 13:00-14:00. Wings were spread with underwings showing. Initially we thought it was an erebiid ('Noctuidae' or 'Arctiidae') but this compares pretty well with the Saturniid Automeris, so...
