Moved from Rhabdura.

Per Dr. Alexander Blanke of the Sugadaira Montane Research Center (SMRC), University of Tsukuba, Japan, "...It is definitely of the of the family Campodeidae, maybe genus Campodea..."

Much of what I find in the soil around Brooklyn is non-native and I wonder if this might be also. Campodea staphylinus perhaps?
