This is the elm sawfly, Cimbex americana Leach

You know I had that suspicion because of the front legs! I just wasn't sure what to search for, thanks!!!

Sawfly grub...
Though they look like caterpillars, they are actually the larvae of a relative of the Bees and Wasps, called Sawflies. This one reminds me of the Elm Sawfly, but I'm not familiar with your region. I love their little faces. ^^
