Early record for South American Teneb - Gondwanocrypticus platensis

Early record for South American Teneb - Gondwanocrypticus platensis
Webb Canyon, ~2000 ft. elevation, Los Angeles County, California, USA
March 18, 2009
My first sighting of this introduced teneb here in the canyon, just prior to being rescued from my landlord's pool.

I wasn't going to submit these photos because they're not very good, but as this is apparently the first record of this beetle in California, I thought it was important to include some photographic evidence of the earliest date of documentation.
